If Hope is Jean than I think that would suck. Instead of being creative with Hope lets just make her Jean. If they do this I would feel like they wasted 5/6 years of my time from Messiah Complex tell now. & why does everything in the X Universe have to come back to Jean Gray & The Phoenix? We can't come up with are own ideas so let's redo stories that have been redone a million times.

I personally don't want Jean back at all even though I know it will happen I just feel like some characters are better off dead & Jean is one of those characters.

I think she's Rachel actually. She's a vessel for the phoenix force and she's from a time that no longer exists, so if I were a Phoenix, I'd birth her just to make her legitimate.

All this Marvel Now stuff is interesting for someone who is currently reading stuff from 2008... In the sense that I was a bit soured on Marvel business practices before starting the project of listening to UXC and reading along... and I can't really figure out whether this is a good or bad thing. It seems like their is so little diversity in the Marvel line. It would be nice to think that Marvel NOW will change that, but all signs seem to point toward the opposite...
