Just found this article. I'm pleased that Singer is involved. And I'm glad to see that he's planning to possibly clear up the discrepancies between First Class and the other X Men films.

I enjoyed First Class. I have faith in Vaughn and the acting talent. It looks like they're trying to do something ambitious. It may stink, but I'm all about the attempt. There are plenty of mediocre super hero flicks out there. I'm up for something new.

We always hope these movies will be awesome, but we never say we won't watch haha.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic. First Class flew in the face of both comic and established movie continuity, took a ton of liberties, and STILL managed to be pretty kick-ass. If Days Of Future Past can hold on to the vibe that First Class had, and veer closer to the continuity of the previous X-Men films, I think it's gonna be incredible.

I hear you. The movies don't have to mirror the comics, as far as I'm concerned.

It would be cool if there was some continuity between the movies, however, but I'm more concerned with the movie being GOOD than with it fitting in with other X-Men films.

They dont have to mirror comics but I think they should at least fall in to the world it was taken from.Its like watching a motion comic.
