Another great issue. Kitty's all grown up. Stupid Logan, still stalker status on Jean, I'm glad she put him down. Hope this pace and writing can continue a long while.

Also welcome new comers, enjoy the power of XCast.

I don't think I have looked forward to a book this much in a long time. I've been really liking WATXM but it's a different type of book altogether. This is more of a normal X book that I love.

I hear you, man. :) This book just feels right. I can't think of any other way to describe it. It reminds me of the excitement I felt during Whedon & Cassiday's Astonishing run, only the release schedule looks like it's going to be a LOT more easier to deal with. :)

Read 1 & 2. A lot of fun, even if a little more suspension of disbelief is needed than usual. Funny to me that they look like they're from the '60s but Marvel's sliding timeline would actually need them to be from like the '80s at this point :)

Also hoping we get a little more sense of Beast's thinking in going back in time. You'd think he might exhaust a few other options before taking such a drastic step to deal with Scott?

Anyway, those issues aside, there was a lot to enjoy.

Really loving this book and the interaction between young and old beast. I was hoping for more shock and aw from characters seeing Jean again alive. Really enjoyed beast saying Xavier will just erase His mind and send him home. So true.

I think Wolverine was pretty stunned about seeing Jean again but that's it. But then how many tomes have the x men dealt with time travel bullshit. Enough not be phased.

I think young Scott and old Scott are gonna meet up in issue three. Shit's going to hit the fan! :)

Yeah; Bendis is doing a great job at keeping the suspense going. The "HOLY SHIT" moments are being spaced out, yet the stuff in between is still quality content. The Cyclops/Emma/Magneto stuff was freaking GOLD this issue. :)

I just thought of something!! I can't wait until Cyclops' team gets confronted by Havok & Wolverine's team. I guess this clash would happen more in "Uncanny X-Men" or "Uncanny Avengers" but looking forward to that. Havok's always been a favorite of mine (obviously).

That's a thought. Where in the timeline have they got the x men from? Have they met Havok or Polaris yet. Not that it matters. Just wondering. Would have been funny to bring Magneto into the present too to see him working with Cyclops. Also, my physical copies arrived today. Yay.

Ok. I know it doesn't have much impact. Just nice to know exactly how young they are. Not young chronologically but you know what I mean ha.

I'm eating my words. I'm loving a Bendis book (although he often starts out great). My one and only problem with the book is the pace. There isn't enough meat in each issue. We pretty much have three issues of set up, and each issue can be read in about 5 minutes, That being said, I'm liking all the characters, the art is amazing, and the story keeps me on my toes. Good stuff.
