Episode 74
They unveil the new voice-mail, 765-NEFARIA.
They talk to Shaw about how he got Peter David to call.
Rob can't stand comic binding. He wonders why you would damage your books and thinks it looks crappy.
Rob mentions how they're closer to a tablet where you can read comics on it.
Rob passes on Cable #18. He was fine with it until the Brood popped up. When they did, he was turned off. He wants a resolution to this storyline. Brian likes the Brood, and how Bishop was prepared to sacrifice himself.
Rob on Cable's/Hope's storyline ending: "At least we know what's coming. Maybe. It won't even happen in this book..."
They're tired of being spoiled by solicitations. Brian makes the show a no-solicitation zone.
The List: X-Men leads to discussion from Rob about Emma. He thinks she doesn't have to really stay in diamond form, and is only doing it so she doesn't have to deal with Scott. Brian bets against this.
In X-Men Legacy Annual #1, Rob is excited to see Anole taken hostage by Emplate. Then it's pointed out that it's Roxxy, and not Anole. Rob then passes on this book.
They enjoyed Dark X-Men, the Confession, but wish it had been featured in the crossover. Still they understand why it wasn't, and Brian calls it "really cool".
Not only did Rob finally put New Mutants #5 as a buy, but it was his book of the week. Brian's not a fan of Sunspot as comic relief, but Rob thinks it has to be that way, with everyone else being so serious. They loved the Warlock stuff, and the fact that the book deals with the Aftermath of the Legion story, but sets up the next arc.
Rob bets the New Mutants are going to visit Asgard soon.
In the Top 5 New Mutants covers, Rob chooses #64 as his number two. It's hilarious as Brian reacts in disgust.

Episode 76
They don't like the news that Kyle and Yost are off X-Force soon.
They think the Hope thing is coming to an end soon with the end of Cable and news of Second Coming.
Rob mistakes news of Millar's Nemesis as a continuation of Old Man Logan. Brian thinks Rob is misinformed and full of crap.
Brian is excited to have downloaded a Cherry Poptart issue with the story, "The Uncanny Sex-Men".
They review a massive ten issues in On Shelves Now. Rob actually has 6 buys.
With Dark Wolverine #77, Rob likes the inner workings of the Dark Avengers and thinks they are great characters.
They find Old Man Logan Finale to have a lackluster ending.
They love X-Force #19-20. Rob feels that, in a good way, every issue is the same: fantastic.
Brian feels cheated due to solicits a bit at the end of #20, with Doug Ramsey being shown.
Rob thought the Necrosha One-Shot was "awesome beyond belief." Brian greatly enjoyed it as well. They loved getting inside Doug Ramsey's head, with the binary code. Brian notes that it's interesting that he, as well as the Hellions, has been aged up.
In New Mutants #6, Rob had high praise.
Rob: "I am beyond on board wit New Mutants."
Rob thinks this is probably the best Cypher issue ever. Both hosts are glad to see Cypher powered up, as he should have been years ago. They both think Doug and a few other mutants will remain alive after Necrosha. Possibly Banshee.
They have a Top 5 X-Men they want back from the dead, with Count Nefaria.
In the Retros, Rob states he likes Artie Maddox and Leech, to the disbelief of Brian. He also thought Angel was faking his own death rather than attempting suicide.
