issue 0 is out what are your thoughts?

Ok i had to finish reading it. damn Hope friggin crazy... no wonder the phoenix force is gravitating towards her. so shes not jean, ok but that doesnt mean they arent related. I hadnt seen her skills since i wasnt reading all the xbooks...

i like seeing women super heroes kick ass especially as a team. the opening pages were great. i actually felt sorry for scarlet witch the cuckoo head.

that being said i enjoyed the sneak peek at the writing.

and a bonus with purchase i got a free digital comic.

More cautiously optimistic than I was before, the Vision giving Wanda the brush off was the best part for me. It did feel a bit weird just seeing Wanda superheroing again after keeping a low profile for years.

I should go back and read Disassembled, one of the few Marvel events I never bothered with.

I did find the dramatis persona thing a bit weird with like 5 X-Men vs a stack of Avengers.

it was kinda weird but i think following it up with that she said she shouldnt have tried to do it on her own and being a bit scatter brain worked. i'll get AvsX #1 but it will have to be really compelling to keep me reading (ok maybe ill buy 2 & 3 to be sure.)

i remember reading a couple of dissassembled but i couldnt get into it. plus she royally pissed me of witht he D-day stuff.

haha i just read disassembled and house of m the other day. then avengers 24.1 where the newly reconstructed vision is filled in on those two stories. so when i read avx0 he seemed to be the only one acting logically. the other avengers seemed way too eager for her return. they seem to treat her like she's the beyonder or something, from secret wars II. where they figure she's too powerful to fight so let's just be nice and hope she doesn't unmake reality again. i really liked that opening issue though, and can't wait to see where it goes from here. how those two threads tie together.

Wow! I never knew why all of a sudden Tony forgot all about the whole Civil War thing. So they just throw it under the rug. That's pretty shitty.

me either that's probably the lamest storyline I've heard so far.

They had to do something to reset him. They made him the biggest asshat in the Marvel U. You can't have your moneymaker be a complete tool with a hugely popular movie out there.

Issue 0 was good a nice setup for the arc.


Just finished issue 1 Spoilers - Good 1st Issue Cyke just blasting Cap was crazy. & it does feel like Scott is getting closer & closer to becoming the new Magneto. & it does not look good for the Uncanny team with every top Avenger about to rain down on them.

why wasn't storm on that line too?

I think if anyone is going to cross over to the Avengers side, it's Beast. Wolverine only split with Cyclops over a very specific nurture vs. nature issue, but when it comes to the protection of all the children, including Hope, they'll both do what they need to do to keep her alive. Perhaps Wolverine doesn't know if she is better off with Cyclops or Cap right now, and is willing to let them hash it out until he knows for sure. He is what Spider-man was to Civil War. And once this hits home, Cyclops and him will be aligned.

Beast however has had more broad based problems with Cyclops. He doesn't approve of anything he does, and probably thinks that Hope is way more safe with Captain America.
