Age of Apocalypse Series

Postby MetoxoTheLavaMan » Mon Apr 09, 2012 11:15 pm

Is anyone reading this? I am enjoying it 2 issues in, but don't know how far they'll be able to keep the series going. It seems to be based a lot on the ideas reminder brought in, while still paying respect to the original event.

So far it's been okay. The whole humans as the good guys vs the evil mutants is cool and something new. Also Jean Grey and Sabertooth having to deal with becoming human is going to be interesting. On the negative side so far most of the humans don't have any characterization. It's only been two issues so far but right now it's a bunch of guys shooting guns that are all interchangeable. It has potential to be really fun but so far but it hasn't happened.

So how the hell does that work......I havn't read all of AOA, but it was my understanding from the synopsis I read that the future was basically eliminated from continuity once Prof.X lived in the past.....or am I wrong on that note?

You liking it?

Drinking game? I'm intrigued now. What did he have to drink to?

that's funny especially the amount of "snikts" in any given issue.

You know what sad about this new ongoing? Out of all the revisits, It's probably the closest depiction of AoA, to the original AoA. But it still doesn't have most of the awesome things that got Phillies drunk.

I think AOA is pretty good. That is to say this book will not become a pass for me in the future, but Jean Grey is there which is helping me justify buying it.
