Listening right now, Raizo kodo appeared in x-men 11. It was a one off with Raizo and Xavier.

Also I'm with rob on legacy. It's been great since gage took over. I think it has the best character interaction of any x book right now.

Of course you like Young Justice, Brian! It's sidekicks galore!
When I agreed that you guys are jaded, I meant you were both fans of the classic stuff, and you can't seem to find that Claremont magic in todays X-men. The comics are written for our age and demographic, but they are not written for huge Claremont fans. I still think your opinions are valid though, because a lot of your listeners are the same way... just not me.
And by Claremont magic I don't mean his writing style. I mean his ability to change the story to something completely new and different every arc. From Space, to Japan, To classic villain, to new villain, to demons and baseball, to unrequited love, and so on. Very few X-books today are that random. Uncanny is all about space, Legacy is all about Rogue, and nothing is changing at all. None of the books like to switch up the setting and characters, so for anyone who was with Claremont while he was writing, I completely get why they would be jaded. I'm just glad I came late to the game, and that I'm not hung up on how it used to be.

Haha, sidekicks don't get cool vampire names. Paul Flanders is appropriate.

I'm sorry but Victor Gischler is not the worst dialogue writer. Gillen is. Remember "I am Good Apex. He is Bad Apex. You will be Non-Apex, okay Non-Apex." Your kids could all write better dialogue than Gillen.

I remember those ewok movies, one was called battle for endor, I forget the other one. I remember as a kid I really liked one of them and really hated the other one, but could never remember which was which and got pissed when I started watching the bad one.

I love this freaking podcast.

Just listening to the intro banter, and my inner Star Wars geek started spazzing out: Dudes; you're both talking about the SAME clone wars cartoon movie. It featured the introduction of Anakin's Padawan AND a mission to track down Jaba's kidnapped son.
...fuck; now I feel like effing Comic Book Guy from the Simipsons.
