Well untill we know for sure speculation can draw many conclusions I would say yes to retcon but hopefully in a good way.

The possiablity of another Series does anyone know if Season 1 Xmen is going to be around for awhile?

Alternate Universe I doubt since they just brought in AoA

And if its continuation of the current X books will it be something drastic that happen to the original members. Or will Xavier had a secret team no one ever knew about and will base a new team leading into a comic of their own but if thats not the case than perhaps new X villans.

Maybe it'll focus on Xavier and Magento with some other mutants killing some Nazi's set in the 50's. Just a wild guess.

It better not be another frak in a retcon, if It is I am so sick of them tring to y2k what I know and love, hey Marvel I am a para legal major I am smart enough to warp my mind around the fact that the stories that you published in the 60"s happened in the story arc of the series, but not in the 60's I under stand that your 3 to four year in our world equal 1 year or so in your world. We do not need any moron look I can read level recon so please burn it and and any evidence of it please, and yes I am drunk but I have good reason to be.

I'm guessing this will be like S.H.I.E.L.D. or the Agents of Atlas. Since First Class the movie was so popular I'll bet this is a story of mutants in the 50s or 60s before Xavier formed the X-Men. Either it'll tell the tale of his "first team" or a whole other gathering of mutants as a team before X-Men proper. Retconning in a legacy.

I'll hold judgement until I see details, creative teams, etc.

It would be cool if it was about some lone mutants doing their thing but since it's "x"-men, Xaxier probably is involved. Maybe some mutants Xavier watched put never put on the team.

Yes, the X-Men had a Year One HC out just about a month ago. It was pretty good in my opinion.
