All New X-Men

Postby Raider-X » Fri Nov 16, 2012 10:34 am

:D :D :D I'm diggin the first issue---this is looking to be a pretty awesome story and comic---and the art was great!

I like when Cyke gets in the camera and makes an "X" with his arms....thats a sweet panel....

I really like Cyke as a rebel leader---while many say he is a dick lately, i'd say they found a great role to sublimate that trait...

This issue was pretty good. I love that Cyke has basically become Magneto & this is something that didn't just come out of the blue he has been on that line for a while now.

& I kind of like the idea that it's the current X-Men going back in time & saying "Your future turns out bad & needs your help." When it's usually the other way around it's a nice change of pace.

Great issue, and I'm digging Cyclops (it still feels weird saying that LOL).

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see how everything goes down when the Young Team meets the Present Day team. GONNA BE AWESOME!! :D

So, present day Beast is dying? Who thinks Marvel might write him out to make space for Young Beast?

OH! And what if past Xavier were brought back to the present day....

Agreed. Cyclops is a badass here. And I know I haven't read a lot of him, but I quite like Beast, I know he takes a lot of shit on here and maybe ill see why when I catch up but I like him. Don't know why I just do.

Was digging it if this first issue is a sign of things to come I dont think we will have to worry. On a side note yes another mutation that may or may not kill Beast finally hopefully no more cat/dog beast I havent been this excited for a Beast centric story since he teamed up with AOA Beast. Hope for the future

Issue 2 was great; it had some pretty sweet payoff. This fish out of water stuff is working incredibly well, and it's leaving me starving for more interaction between the X-Men from the past and the present day Marvel U. Anyone know how old the team is? Late teens/early twenties?

Sounds right. I foresee some complicated business between teen Scott, teen Jean, and old man Logan. And modern-day Cyclops is gonna shit a brick!

I am loving this book. I will be the first to admit that I love time travel stories in general. Although X-Men has really taken it to an extreme in past years. But I personally love them. I also love the original X-Men team! So this book was just made for me. The art is AMAZING!

Just got done with #2 and literally could not put it down. The story is fleshing out at a nice pace, but waht made this stand out was those first interactions with are fellow X'ers. The lol moments of Icemen, Both Beasties weighing the situation, First interactions and reactions of our main cast. The characters and the history have that in spades. And yes the artwork is consistant not to mention awe inspiring wish more X titles had this type of style this is the X book we deserve and need. Looking back at the journey that got us to this point I feel like AvX was a bloated cake that Marvel shoveled in our mouths and this book is the refreshing cold glass of milk (or whatever beverage you prefer) that washes it down nicely needless to say im ready for more cake yep so far this book is the tasty Im eXcited where this will take us nuff said.

Absolutely agree with you Professor Q. I am also new to the forums and working my way through listening to old X-cast episodes. Always love the time travel stories, especially the Rachel Summers / Kate Pryde stuff from the 80's.
