What have you watched recently?

Hot Tub Time Machine was super funny. I thought it really spoke to 40+ish married dudes.

I have had "Sunshine" in my Macbook Pro's disc drive for about three days now... I really need to get around to watching that.

I'm going to see Toy Story 3 with my sisters this evening though.

Youth in Revolt. That was fun. I read the book over a decade ago.

Appaloosa . . . great movie, great book.

Started House Party 2 last night . . . I'm hoping to get back to it tonight, or tomorrow night :)

A-Team: Excellent. Lots of fun
Knight and Day: posted already
Jonah Hex: Again lots of fun. Not exactly Jonah Hex, but still enjoyed it.
Prince of Persia: Perfectly fine little action movie.
Robin Hood: had issues with the title. Not particularly Robin hood, but Crowe, Durand and Grimes did great acting job and the movie itself was good.
Iron Man 2: Do I even have to fill this part out now?

In the past week-

-I saw A-Team for the second time and I am a huge fan
-Watched Transformers 2 for the first time since the theater and I am not a huge fan
-Watch Bachelor Party on Netflix Instant and it was fun
-Picked up Blood Diamond on Blu Ray and realized that every time I watch an Ed Zwick movie I am totally blown away by his scenery! I think I am going to have to double-dip on some of his movies that I have on DVD.

Tonight or Tommorow I will be watching Avatar on BD from Netflix. I saw it in theaters but didn't feel rushed to go buy it so we will see what happens
I also bought State of Play and Body of Lies on BD over the weekend so I will be watching those and I think I might head out and pick up Predator Ultimate Edition this week also.

The bride and I just started watching LotR again this week, 2 hours down, 10 to go!!

Also watched Scrooged with Bill Murray last week, I haven't seen it in years, but it holds up pretty well. I didn't realise that Marian from Raiders of the Lost Ark was in it!!

Saw a-team over the weekend. That was probably the best popcorn flick I've seen in a long time. It could have come off bad, but I think there's definitly a franchise in this one.

Just got back from Toy Story 3. I was definitely tearing up at the end.

Best of the 3 in my opinion.

Triad Election- Awesome Chinese gangster flick about a reluctant figurehead being made into a triad crime boss.

High Score- Low budget documentary about a guy going for the world record score on the old Atari classic Missile Command. If you dug King of Kong you will probably dig this.

Dune- For some reason one of my movie channels has been showing David Lynch's Dune pretty frequently and I can't stop watching it. Same with Escape from New York.

I heard the opposite for the road. The book was phenominal. I bought the blu Ray just because I liked the book so much, but I still haven't gotten around to watching it

I loved Book of Eli esp. for the ending.

Watched my Predator Hunter Ed. last night. Without a doubt it is the best the movie has ever looked. The transfer is super clear. I can see what the nay-sayers mean, though. It's almost too clear in some spots. At one point Carl Weathers looks like he is wearing a clear mask or too much make up. Its hard to explain.

What a badass movie though. Love it. One of my all time favs.

Ziggo won't agree but while my wife was on a date watching Sex in the City 2, I stayed home and watched Mutant Chornicles, which I thought was amazingly good. If Ziggo ever gets back to me on facebook, I'd take his copy of his hands.
