Saw it earlier this evening, in between today's visits to see my first-born daughter in the NICU... oh wait, I didn't mention this??

I'M A DAD NOW!!!!!!!!! If this looks like an easy attempt at fishing for compliments, you're right, and I don't care, BECAUSE I'M A DAD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the world, Anya Fuqua. I love you, and always will.

Anyway, back to Captain America... I thought it was terrific, probably Marvel's best movie so far (both in-house and other studios). I was a little weary approaching the forums tonight, as the general opinions of the forum users regarding the last two big movies were almost COMPLETELY opposite of my own views -- I thought Green Lantern was fun and enjoyable, and except for maybe Ken Morgan, just about everyone else seemed to really dislike it; and everyone's rave reviews of Thor got me to go buy a ticket and see it, now I still want my 11.50 back. So naturally I feared that I'd see pages of disgusted reactions at the Cap movie, since I really enjoyed it. Glad to see we agree!

I TOTALLY agree that Tomy Lee Jones was AWESOME. I was afraid he'd have a smaller role that didn't play to his strengths.

What was the Ant Man Easter egg?

Just listened to LOD 152.

Johnny M's Daughter - "Daddy, where is the Red Skull's nose?"
John - "He doesn't have one."
JM's D - "How does he smell?"
J - (Wait for it.......) "AWFUL!!" *zing*

I saw it yesterday at a baby screening (a screening for folks with little 'uns where the lights don't go all the way down and the sound isn't quite so loud and they actually put change tables at the front of the screen so you can sort the nippers and keep watching) and it was empty just me, the wife, little Zach (11 weeks) and one other guy who was on his own.??

anyway I loved it and am stoked for the Avengers

No it was great my wife loves comic movies so she always came to see them with me anyway and my hearing's pretty acute so having the sound down didn't bother me it was more bothersome hearing the other guy shifting in his seat and mouth breathing :)

Great video!! She looks like she is doing well, plenty of colour and responsive to what is going on around her.

All kinds of awesome. I really dig the way this is developing. Love the coat. The layered effect is impressive. Highly polished chrome look. The suit looks a little off but this may have more to do with it being used for stunts. Overall a very realistic design for what would be the erosion of the Second World War.
