He should be super jingoistic in this movie at least, its WW2 fer cryin out loud! Have him a shattered man in a new world with new rules and reacting to the way the world sees America in the Avengers, I want to see the living fighting spirit of America first dagnabbit! Still, as long he's shown as a nice guy who cares because its the right way to be, and he comes off as a brilliant tactician and soldier, I think I can let it slide.

I like how they are trying to stay true to the comic character and yet still miss the point of Captain AMERICA!!! Its WWII everyone was go team USA back then.

Hail indeed.

The only bit that has me concerned is Cap acting as an agent for the USO. This seems very strange to me. I don't recall this ever being used in the comics. It almost seems corny or cheesy. He was created to be the ultimate soldier and symbol of the US Army. I'll reserve judgment but it seems that this plotline would take screen time away from his time in the field.
