Knight and Day

Postby Nuggie99 » Tue Jun 29, 2010 2:33 pm

In a summer of 80's style popcorn shoot 'em ups, here's another.

It has plenty of explosions, fight scenes and car chases, which are the three things I ask for in an action movie. Cruise is charming as our "hero." Plot is interesting enough, but if you're watching action movies for plot, you've missed the point.

I give it a thumbs up. (Unfortunately, if I do very many reviews here, you'll see everything gets a thumbs up for me).

I remember liking this the first time I saw it. It was called "True Lies".

Sorry I can't get over the formula or my hatred of Tom Cruise long enough to watch this one. I don't like Cameron Diaz either. She's like Derek Zoolander; she's got one look and that is it.

I'll rent it.

Then again, I haven't seen a movie in the theater in years.

So yeah, I'll rent it.
