I am on Cloud Nine!!

My friends, THIS is the moment I have been waiting for!! I am so excited to FINALLY be able to bring you good news!! I just received a call from Walt Disney World Casting. Starting in late October, I will be a FULL-TIME Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort!! And -- get this, this is the best part -- I will be a Monorail Operator!!



OMG, I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am at this very moment!!

I want to thank each and every listener and friend in the community that has prayed for me and offered well wishes and good thoughts. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that God answers prayer and this is mine. I am so thankful!

I'll be going to Traditions on October 26th!

Can you believe this? Dreams really do come true!

I think the best part is yet to come. My boys are at school and know nothing of this. Logan's absolute FAVORITE thing at WDW is the monorail. He's crazy for the thing. He has a massive monorail-based pin collection and the poster over his bed. He'll flip. I'll finally have a job my kids can be proud of their old man for.

Dude, awesome! Congrats!

As a kid, when we went to WDW, we always stayed in the Polynesian, so we took the Monorail to get to both the MK and EPCOT. I have lots of great memories of the views of the Lagoon and whatnot from the windows of the Monorail as a little kid. I always thought it was neat that you pulled right into the Contemporary as well.
