Hey HalfHourWasted nation! Id like to offer my condolances on the issues with my segment...sounds like I let Max Headroom engineer it. I solemnly vow it'll never happen again. Almost certainly. Well, probably. OK, its bloody likely, alright?
On the plus side, that was compelling and kinda epic content...at least from me. Am I right? Am I right? How about that airline food? Am I right? Fine..I'll stop typing. For now...

I really enjoyed the commentary on Marvel/DC and very much agree with the craziness in the Marvel Universe right now...

I'm just far enough in to hear Bill rant about Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet.

I haven't read it yet, but from what I understand it's an all ages version of the original Infinity Gauntlet story from way back when. It's a chance for those folks who were around or reading at the time to give the story a shot without being bogged down by continuity.

However, haven't not yet read it I can't comment on the quality or lack thereof. Bill was just confused about where this story fit in as far as continuity was concerned, so there you go.

However again, one of the writers for the book is Brian Clevinger who is one of the geniuses behind the Eisner nominated Atomic Robo comic which I love so dearly.

First off. I love these eps. such a good idea and different thing to do.

Bill little DC/Marvel rant. I do agree t hat is is Avenger soaked in Marvel right now and if you don't dig on team books that can be frustrating. But at the same time we have been weighed down so much with event driven narratives that swallow up EVERY book lately that the kind of crazy over the top direction (The mulitple time line jumping Avengers, the magic destroying NYC New Avengers) that doesn't have a universal effect on Marvel is a very refreshing and fun change of pace. And if we need several Avengers titles to get it then so be it.

Also if you are Avengers sick there are plenty of single hero (Invincible Ironman, Cap, Thor, SHEILD) and even other non Avenger team books (Secret Warriors, Thunderbolts, Agents of Atlas) that are great.

Crystal. Poor Poor Crystal. You need to get her a gig, or a boyfriend.

Frank your Simpson piece had me laughing, all fav. eps of Mine.

And of course. Voice and Co. FTW.

I just wish, for at least a little while, both Marvel and DC would let thier character books be just thier own story lines with a crossover every once in a while and keep the team books limited to one title. And maybe we go a few years without major events....

I found it funny that Frank's first segement had him surrounded by women. I don't know why I find it funny, but I do.

Bill, I loved your segment, you should do a podcast with Sage.

Brad, my favorite segment of the bunch was the phone coversation with Crystal. It touched me.
