I need Smallville advice

I have only seen seasons eight and nine. It is my understanding that the later seasons are quite different than the early ones. Long question short....Should I buy seasons one thru four for ten bucks apiece?

For ten bucks each it's worth it. Those early seasons have a lot of innocence to them. Especially with Clark and Lana. Also I liked Pete Ross and he was in the show back then. It tended to suffer from villain of the week but the beginnings and endings were worth it.

Definitely yes. Those are probably the best seasons, despite the "Freak of the Week" stories.
