Since when is Quesada a writer. He is an artist and he needs to stick with that. I was happy with just moving on, why are we going back? And, if they put everything back to the way it was people will end up more pissed off in my opinion

Joe Quesadilla is a giant douche and I hope an NYC bum throws something at him as he leaves the office.

Yes, I just read the new Amazing Spider-Man.

Douche.

I've tried over the past two years to get back into the book, but I can't--to me this era's second only to the Clone Saga in terms of being the worst period for Spider-Man. Besides #600 and the beginning of the Juggernaut arc, every issue I've read has ranged from mediocre to so horrible that it's stunning that great writers like Waid or Kelly would suddenly lose all their talent for. Peter as a character has turned into a complete and utter incompetent with the emotional maturity of a twelve year-old, all the other supporting cast has been stagnant and done nothing interesting, and all their new additions have been so dull and uninteresting.

I know this status quo has a lot of fans, and I'll probably try again once it goes to this "Big Time" thing they're talking about, but I just don't get it, and I would rather them just wipe away this status quo and start over from the beginning--it's not like we'd be missing anything important.

Hated O.M.I.T but they are starting new again so lets hope they do something with it.

The most recent issue of ASM (the final issue of BND) was really good. A nice cap to the era.

On to "Big Time"!

After not reading comics for about 6 months, I'm catching up.

I just finished One Moment in Time and Origin of the Species. I actually liked OMiT. It clearly explained what Mephisto actually did, and how those changes rippled through to get where we are. I really liked that part.

I did not like the very, very end. Marvel, Joey Q, whomever clearly and with a fine point said, "The Marriage is over, they are just friends."

Origin of the Species helped turn me around. Where OMiT wrapped up One More Day, Origin of the Species wrapped up all of Brand New Day. It really feels like we're on a real square one. Brand New Day still felt like it was a result of One More Day, which frankly, it was. Finally, as I'm about to start reading Big Time, it feels like the we're ready to move on.

I know Big Time has been a few issues into it already, and I'm hearing great things from everyone about it. I'll be catching up on that tonight.
