EXCLUSIVE TTF SCOOP! The Revamped Star Tours!

Awesomesauce. My father just forwarded me an email from the Disney Vacation Club about the new Star Tours, so this was a real treat to hear.

Excellent! I was just perusing a few old school Wonderful World of Disney eps: Man in Space + Man and the Moon (both from 1955!) and the wife walked by and tossed out a WDW trip scenario for the summer...
This brings to mind the brief/aborted Alien Encounter attraction from Lucas/Disney - conspiracy theories abound on the original intent of that one!
Anyone ever actually go on it?
I have the audio/cam version of a walk thru - but it's not very decipherable.
Also of note is the one time broadcast special from 1995 about UFO Disclosure from Disney - hosted by Robert Urich to coincide with the opening of the attraction - very interesting tone to the show. Quite serious - and with sweet footage that is still pretty f'n weird to this day...

Our family is planning a trip to WDW in either '12 or '13 -- can't wait for Star Tours!
