I am psyched to see this, but doubly so for Inception next week.

Probably go on Monday when its only $5 admission.

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was awesome. Paid homage to the first and delivered some new stuff too. Hopefully this is the start of the franchise it should have been.

I loved it! I saw it twice on Friday. Once in the morning, then again with Bill McGonnell that night.

Excellent, fantastic, and better than I hoped for.

I checked it out yesterday out after putting in some time at the office. Pretty fun movie, and probably the best of the Pred sequels.

Man I loved this movie. I am so glad to see a return to fun action movies. I wasn't sure about Adrian Brody when i heard he was cast but he nailed it. Love this flick

What about Topher Grace?

Wasn't he in the movie?

How was he?

I like Topher Grace and all, but I don't remember ever saying to myself: "That Topher Grace is going to go places. He'd be the bomb in a new Predator movie!"

He is in the movie? Right?

I hope so . . . otherwise I'll look like a fool.

Topher reminds me a little of Michael Cera. He always plays the same guy.

I think the fact that they used minimal cgi really tied it in with the first movie. It's was cool too to see a big alien scifi movie with practical effects again.

Just caught it, very entertaining. You can't outdo the original's machismo, so the track they took on this was nicely done. Solid well staged action, the Predators haven't looked this good since 87. Chubby, crazy Larry Fishburne, awesome. Really loved Adrien Brody in this, perfect mix of smarts, scrapper and asshole, and he actually does what Arnie doesn't, he throws down with the Megapredator. They've set up a device(the game preserve) that can be used again with more humans, other extraterrestrials, whatever. Do an AVP on this planet with Colonial marines that takes place in the future, the possibilities are endless, have some of the hunted jack a ship and head to the Predator homeworld. Have the classic Predators recruit our baddest asses to help them against the Bully Predators, shit anything's possible now. Christ, this was way better than it had any right to be, and I really enjoy Predator 2 and the goofy fun of the WWE-ness of the AVP films. This is leaps and bounds above all of those. Oh yeah, ancient Samurai sword wielding, silk suit wearing Yakuza enforcer vs MegaPredator shot like a Kurosawa film for the win baby.

And slain by the bloody axe I wail!"
