Hello Freaks!

My name is David Atteberry. I am 34 years old and I live in Mesa, AZ. I have been working designing homes for about 17 years. I managed to trick my wife into marrying me eleven years ago, and I have three kids.

I found Two True Freaks when Scott guested on Views From The Longbox with Mike Bailey (The "Catharsis" Episode). I began to listen to the back catalog from the beginning and became a current listener with the episode where Scott announced he had to go on hiatus. (I am so glad the dark times are over for you my friend.) I listen to and love all of the TTF shows.

I am probably your only listener who isn't a comic book reader. But you have gotten me to dip my toes in the water, and I am now reading The Walking Dead. (I am a huge nostalgia nerd for all things 80's, and I love that most of the comics you cover on your various shows are from that era.)

I love to read, draw (pencils and computer), watch movies and play computer games. I love all things sci-fi, fantasy and genre related. I equally love both Star Wars and Star Trek. I love good story telling in any form. I have pretty much switched over to listening to movie scores exclusively, and I think that officially makes me an old fart. I think over all, I am pretty dang boring.

Hello you Freaks and Freakettes

My name is Robert Louis Stubbs Jr. I am 44 years old with no criminal record as far as you people know no matter what Cobra Commander says. I live in a small town in the ancestral homestead after a lot of years of being on the road doing construction work. I am still tragically single even though there have been occasional women that I wanted to marry but it didn't work out.

I have been involved in comics since my early youth along with the worlds of science fiction and fiction in its various forms even though I can't name the first comic I ever read but I suspect that it was a Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes however. I have decades of watching Various Television genres and am not ashamed of admitting to watching and enjoying Cartoons especially the recent batch of great series like Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes, Batman The Brave and Bold , The Batman and Young Justice.

One of my unfortunate flaws is that the older I get the less time/patience I have for crappy fiction and political correctness so I am giving fair warning ahead of the time.

As to how I got here My Home Planet of Krypton exploded and my parents Lou Stu and Mar Stu sent me through Express Mail to Thanagar but there was a mix up on the address after chemicals fell on it and it got hit by lightning so I winded up on Mars. Before the package could be opened up a Teleporter beam whisked me away but a Space Ship hit that beam because of a bad space driver Abin Sur and the package I was in hit some thug who was holding up a nice Gotham couple. Before they could open the package a Spy Guy named Steve Trevor swooped in to confiscate the package which meant he didn't go on a mission that his replacement E Candy did. Apparently she later crashed on a whole island full of women folk.

Oh wait you mean how did I come to the forum? I came from the Superman Homepage that lead to From Crisis to Crisis that lead to Tales from the Justice Society of America to Comics Monthly Monday to this forum.

Hey all

My name's Dave Walker, I'm 27 and I'm from Belfast N. Ireland. I started listening to TTF when I ran out of Views From the Longbox sometime last year and needed something to listen to while I tried to get work done. So it's Michael Baileys fault I'm here. Jon M. Wilson too since I started listening to MB because of him.

I've been reading comics for around 10 or so years but the first comic/trade I remember reading was about 15 years ago when I got Byrne's Man of Steel out of the library and had it finished before I left. I like the Nolan Batman movies but I have to say that Kevin Conroy is the best Batman in my opinion and Mark Hamill is still the best Joker. I have trouble finding any comics I completely dislike reading. I'm usually able to find something I've enjoyed in the issues I've read but maybe that's why I hate Steve Dillon's art so much. The hate's all been focused into one place. Sorry but he's the only creator who's made me stop reading a series purely becasue of their contribution to the end product.

Star Wars-wise I know i liked it as a kid and one of my earliest memories is of asking one of my parents if Yoda was like Kermit and why Luke was fighting with his daddy. I remember watching Droids and Ewoks and playing with my Star Wars toys. I still have my AT-ST which was my favourite toy as a kid. Thing is though I forgot completely that I liked Star Wars until 96/97 when the remastered versions came out on VHS. Oops. After that I started reading the EU and got to see Episode 1 twice on release day.

For Star Trek I have to say my first encounter with it was probably Star Trek IV but might've been TNG. Not sure about that but I do know I really disliked Star Trek the motion Picture when I last saw it but I haven't watched it since I started listening to TTF so will probably give it another chance next time I see it on.

Also I like the whole anime and manga thing. Sorry. I especially like the fact that in Japan they're looked upon as an all ages thing and I kind of would like that happen with the animation and comics we've got here. Think that covers most of the stuff you guys cover on your main shows but I do like other things too. Video Games, reading books(just to differentiate from the aforementioned comic reading) and movies. This list however is not exhaustive.

I am Damien Crawford from Augusta, GA. I am 31 and single.

Like lots of folks it seems I ventured into TTF land because of Michael Bailey and Views from the Longbox. I have been around for about 2 or 3 years now mainly in the background but have sent emails to various shows from time to time. I even have the honor to be the first stranger to meet Scott at public gathering. (His words not mine)

The reason I started listening to TTF was because I needed content to get though the boring work day. With the change of jobs it is harder to do this but still get in a few hours of TTF a week.

My interest span a wide varieties of topics. The Ninja Turtles and Mega Man are the only fandom that I support 24/7. I like most comics from the 80s and 90s. Not to say don't like some things from the past decade it just their is nothing like the things from your childhood. I am a passing fan of Star Wars and Star Trek. Really digging Walking Dead right now. As for TV I watch a few things on a regular bases mostly Survivor, CSI (the original only) and the rest of my time is documentary type stuff. Some shows like Misfits, Alphas, Rookie Blue, Top Shot and others I wait until the season is over before I start on them.

I dabble in writing and drawing not to a professional degree but it something to help me stay sane.

There is lots of other crap I could mention and talk about but I think I been babbling on for long enough.

Been listening for a while, where to start I'm 37 named Dave from the UK, been a big film fan since I was little, my favourite film is John Carpenter's "In the Mouth of Madness" but I've also got a massive soft spot for 13 Going on 30 and Jaws - The Revenge and that's honestly true.

That part in Short Circuit 2 where Number 5 is being attack always makes me cry, I'm a big fan of rock music too but I like nearly all kinds of music too, and I like the odd video game every now and then, my favourite take away food is probably Singapore Chow Mien.

My favourite colour is Green.

First pod cast of yours I listened to I think was The Phantom Menace one.

Also just listening to your 200th Episode and I agree Star Trek - The Motion Picture is pretty good and doesn't deserve the flack it gets, also I'd love to hear a pod cast about Death Wish III it's a great film.
