What were your thoughts on the final issue and the series and character as a whole?

I gather he is presumed dead until another writer comes along with a really good use for him.

For the next few years though, I don't think we'll be seeing Daken.

It's always best to leave things open ended. This way, when some creators come up with a Daken story they want to tell, they won't have to come up with an elaborate resurrection plot. My apologies to Antony, but I never liked the character or the series.

i liked the last issue, but he's totally not dead. i'd rather they end a series that doesn't have much direction rather than drag a character through the mud. daken is an A-list villain despite the horrible name Daken. instead of trying to take over LA (what was that about?) he should've taken over japan, butted heads with a revived mystique before joining her and Sabretooth in Wolverine 300. finish the daken series with him rooted among wolverine's most popular enemies. that's how you make the character stick.
