Haven't listened yet, but I don't get the hate for the Uncanny X-Men I'm reading at all. Not as exciting as W&TXM, but outside of the Greg Land art it's been a fun, interesting sci-fi/action book.

Villian of the week, yes stupid and lame and its not just in comics but TV as well. example alcatraz, interesting concept but each week was a different convict and it got boring real fast.

uncanny xmen #9 - if the xbooks are gearing toward a younger audience, disecting humans and blowing up kids heads, not sure thats the right direction. leave W&XM with an E rating and leave the rest teen/adults.

Hunger Games - Mockingjay is actually the most violent and the best of the 3. I read a lot of young adult books now because I got sick of all the stupid sex scenes and extras that hold up a story. You can get caught up with the characters in HG just like HP because of good character development. Ive read the hobbit and LOTR trilogy and loved them but its nice to read something with out having to think about an extended environment and family tree. The best Fantasy series ive ever read and re-read was PIers Anthonys, Incarnations of Immortality, great stuff.
