I'm telling you guys that for royal families in this time, it wasn't discouraged for this to happen. Keep the bloodline pure no matter how f-ed up it is. GM is just keeping it real....weird.

I know it's only been two episodes and I'm more patient then last season but so far this season is starting out like the first being lite on action and all setup. This still was a good episode but I had to do the old watch check a few times while watching. The other thing I'm having a problem with is that with Sean Bean killed off there's no other person to root for. I really want to pull for Jon Snow and keep waiting for him to be a badass but nothing much ever seems to happen with him. I'm sure things will pickup soon like last time but I just wanted to point somethings out that have been bugging me so far.

I can't imagine this book being simple to adapt to television. So many subplots getting about 5 minutes of screen time each episode. I marathoned the first season for my roommate, and he loved it, but I play the first two episodes of this season spread apart, and he can't handle how slow it goes.

Yeah, if I wasn't so damn OCD about watching shows right when they come out, I'd wait till the end of the season and marathon it. I'm sure I'd enjoy it even more that way.

We grew up in a time before DVD Box Sets and torrents. That's just how we're programmed.

I'm loving the show. Compared to most of the crap on network TV, Game Of Thrones is like 24 karat gold. I have to admit though, people familiar with the books are probably getting a whole lot more out of the series than folks who aren't. Which makes me wonder, what percentage of the viewers are folks who haven't read the books yet?

Thirded. Yeah, most people watching have probably not read the books.

That episode felt like a whole lot of not much happening. The stuff with Peter Dinklage playing the council like chumps was good, otherwise seems like everything else could've been shortened up and more scenes added in.

Like, I still don't know who the redhead is, or much of anything about the king she's with. Don't know what Rob's up to. Apparently it's a huge deal that the brother is gay, but they covered that last season, let's see some war planning or actual fighting from him.

What's up with Cersei being so bitchy all the time? She treats Sansa Stark like a piece of trash - just some girl who should shut up and do as she's told and marry Joffrey without question - but when the tables are turned and the same is expected of her own daughter, Myrcella, she gets all defensive, yelling and crying. Doesn't she see that Sansa is probably a younger version of herself? Where's the compassion?

I'm not crazy making that comparison, right?
