It's pretty lame the Avengers are just going to dominate the X-Men. I can by Iron Man beating Magneto but Namor losing to the Thing in the ocean is crazy. & it doesn't look good going on. Juggerlossus vs Spiderman yeah I bet Spiderman will get beat lol. & the worst match up ever Gambit vs Cap c'mon.

I'm digging the hell out of the X-Men side of A vs X. Not so much the Avengers side of things.

The latest Uncanny was GREAT. They even gave us a little note letting us know when in the scheme of things the issue takes place, which was a welcome touch. The best part of the issue for me: Taking a step back from the fighting to give readers a peek inside the heads of some key characters to see what makes them tick. Namor's bit had me cracking up. The dude's a dick, and he embraces it.

AvX: Vs, #1 was OK. Simply a straight-up, "BIF-BAM-POW" slug-fest, but that's what I was expecting. I was kind of disappointed with how each fight turned out, though. I don't buy Iron Man beating Magneto, even if he's using a suit made of carbon-whatever.

The Avengers are obviously going to come out on top, because they're writing Cyclops as though he's lost all reason. I'm team Wolverine on the whole Schism thing, and I don't like Cyclops even in the best of times, but he's not a retard. Why is he convinced that the Phoenix Force coming to Earth is a good thing? All the X-Men have EVER seen it do is destroy planets and eat suns and ruin lives. And there's no good explanation at any point for this ridiculous change of mind.

Avengers vs. X-Men sucks, thus far. I hope it turns around. Also, there's no way Cyclops comes out of this. He's either dying or getting mind-wiped or something along those lines.

JRJR's art was terrible in the first two issues. Issue three he really picks it up. More likely, there were ghost artists doing the finishes in the first two issues.

Anyway, I kind of feel like all these heroes are all coming off like jerks. They're all tainted now. I guess it sells, but I'm not interested in seeing every single super hero argue irrationally. That's pretty much what these crossovers are. Heroes have a slight disagreement so they act like little kids and start throwing punches. How are we supposed to respect these characters after the fact?

I also still don't think Hope is the Phoenix. You know how she has the power to tap into other mutants powers? I think she's tapping into someone else. Hope is a red herring. Phoenix is coming for someone else. Probably someone named Scarlet Witch.

ok so I'm thinking that since Avengers releases in the US today Marvel is already going to be racking in the $$$ so why not let the XMen win AvX to boost their popularity and anticipation for the next X-Movie.
