I started a thread like this over at the CGS forums last year, and I'll ask it here for the dudes.

If you're stuck on a desert island, what ONE comic book do you take with you, and why?

Mine:

Image

This is probably the most read comic in my collection. A collection of "future legends" about the Man of Steel with art and story from Frank Miller, Wendy Pini, Jim Steranko, John Byrne, Will Eisner, Walt Simonson, Marshall Rogers, Klaus Janson, Elliot Maggin, Al Williamson, Joe Orlando, and others with a front cover by Howard Chaykin and back cover by Bill Sienkiewicz (though maybe it's the back interior cover). GREAT STUFF. All out of continuity with Maggin, et al. telling the stories they want to. There are some really interesting ideas being explored in this book.

Only kidding

Favourite Flash including future, hypertime, elseworlds and all that stuff?

What do you think of Marvel's animated movies/shows compared to DC's?

A couple more:

- What's the "Holy Grail" for your favorite collection?
It can be something that's available but you've just never been able to find it, or find it at a good price, or it can be something that you've always wanted to see (a movie not yet on blu-ray, for example) but has yet to be available to fill that gaping hole in your collection.

- What item did you not pull the trigger on, that you now regret having balked at?
For me, Chris Staros has represented Eddie Campbell as far as selling his original artwork and back in 2001-2 I would check out the original pages for From Hell at the Top Shelf booth. Pages were only $150 a pop from my favorite graphic novel of all time. I always figured they would just be there when I was ready to drop down my cash. And then they were gone. Wish I'd taken advantage of the situation then. Don't expect I'd ever find them for $150/page now. Ah, well.

I just started the episode and my jaw hit the floor when I heard the "100" song from Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

Mad, mad, MAD props for using this song, fellas!

Whose idea was it? He just became my favorite Dude.

Partially through the episode and Ken's quick (and thorough) response to the Han Solo vs. Indiana Jones question was awesome.

I'm going back in to listen to some more. :)

I vote Chuck Norris (Delta Force era).
