Okay, this thing is just three months away at the time of me posting this, and here's my plans. I will be flying in to Orlando, probably on the 22nd and leaving on the 28th. I've talked briefly with Scott about getting a room booked at the Pop Century Resort at Disney World, provided the price is right. If anyone is coming and would be willing to share a room (two twin beds, because I don't spoon

), I'd be willing to pick this up. Also, I've looked at possibly renting a small car to aid in driving people around. I've checked and Orlando has a metro bus system that goes to and from Disney and the Convention Center, and you can get a weekly bus pass for eight bucks. However, Scott has warned that frequency of transportation might be spotty at best, so I'm thinking an extra vehicle would help out (Scott mentioned he could pick up people in his car as well). Ticket prices for Celebration are $55 for Thursday, Friday, and Sunday and $60 for Saturday (each day). A 4-Day ticket is $135, but I don't know if we will be going all four days. Scott has also mentioned that he'd like to have people get together and do Disney (especially Hollywood Studios for
Star Tours), and with passes and others chipping in to cover those who couldn't get passes, that would be doable as well. We really need to get a head count as well as a Skype chat going to shore all of this up. Chris and Scott mentioned a possibility of this weekend to Skype it up, and I'd be down for that. This is something that I really want to happen, and I'm willing to pony up what little extras I can on my credit card to help out those who need a place to stay, means of transportation, whatever. Regardless, I will be there, but I'd like to know who else will be, and what tentative plans we are going to make.
Joe -- And just because I'm flying in and offering a free room and car doesn't mean that I've got funds like the 1%...although the amount the government takes from my wages would make you believe that
