they're really starting to sway from the books a bit, eh? it's a little distracting. i loved watching season 1 and then reading the book after. but having read book 2 first, i find i'm picking over every scene that was handled differently. (what's with all this Rob development? i mean, that girls' the hottest on the show, but catelyn was s'posed to leave with brienne and kslay and return to find he'd wed or was promising to wed this other girl or something. not to mention all the Other spoilers. pappy lannister in harrenhal?

Fun Fact: The pretty nurse that Rob bones (Talisa) is Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter.

The next episode looks epic.

My hate for Joffrey has reached a point where if I saw the actor on the street I might not be able to stop myself punching him right in his smug face.

I'm not saying it wasn't necessary, but making Joffrey older has been problematic for the series. Things that I found plausible in the books as far as Joffrey's actions and behavior become puzzling. It also affects characters around him as well, and makes the roles of Tyrion and Cersei more peculiar as well.

Also, I they cut a lot of motivation/explanation from the Stannis side of things. They also didn't give nearly as much time to/cut out the whole chain part of the plan, which was a big part of why Tyrion desrved credit for the battle in the first place.

And say what you will about Stannis, but he was the first guy out of the boat, and the first guy up the ladder.

Was he? I don't get all the praise I'm seeing for this episode. For most of the battle I couldn't tell what was happening and to who because they filmed it in the pitch black night.

I also don't get why people are being nervous about it straying from the books. Surely that makes it more interesting for you, since you don't know what's going to happen? I wish that I could use Walking Dead as an example of this, but it's the worst, so imagine if Walking Dead was actually good.

The extra boobs are because the showrunner is a 14 year-old boy.

Episode 10 was pretty sweet. I dig the ending scene a LOT. :)

Disappointing season. Felt like everything that happened could've been covered in half the time.

I could do with more of John's redhead, though, I'll tell ya that.

This season as a whole, was not as good as the first. Last season, felt more like a full story, whereas this just felt like a continuation without any starting and end point. However when comparing season finale's, this was a lot better. Last season finale was just a steady chain of terrible cliffhangers. This time there was at least a few points of closure.

Spoilers.

I was satisfied with where Tyrion and Sansa ended up. I don't know what Anne Boleyne is thinking, but she's got to be stupidly ambitious to get hitched to Joffrey. She's the hottest on the show, so to think of her with that little bastard is unthinkable.

What's happening with the Stark children is relatively less terrible. Can't wait to see what happens to Greyjoy, but that was pretty funny. One thing that confused me... Who sacked Winterfell? Those 20 men just left, so was it Roberts men that destroyed the place? Doesn't make sense to me.

3 things I thought was awesome: Changing face guy, Fire Dragons, and Frost Zombies!
