Thank you Rob and Brian for another excellent episode. And please keep up the retros, no matter what crap you have to wade through the next several episodes. I don't recognize a single cover of the next ten or so New Mutants or XFactor, which means you've reached the stretch where I dropped them for a year. So thank you in advance for reading this crap.

You're almost up to the first issue of X-Factor I got as a kid, the one that led to my X-Men addiction. I love x-factor from here through when they blow the team up.

It's funny, I peeked through my old X-Factor after this episode. I had the VAGUEST memory of the whole alien even with the celestial. Clearly this time did not leave a great impression upon me, except I thought the ship needed to go (glad I wasn't alone).

I criticize writers for taking the easy way out with "aging up" a baby to make things easier (I believe Angel did this on the TV show as well) and Cable was no exception. It seems lazy. But after looking at these comics, it drags the story to a standstill and ANY action that puts the baby in danger seems ludicrous. It's not hard to have a teenager child who can take care of themselves, but a baby makes the story almost impossible to move forward.
