Fast food is the God Damn Devil. I know its crap, but I love it. There's nothing but laziness stopping me from making a chicken or turkey or PBJ sandwich every day. And cold fountain soda, its lethal, I didn't switch to diet soda in my teens, I'd probably be diabetic now.

Glad to see this thread since I just made a promise to myself to lose weight. I am scared that if I don't take care of it now it is going to get out of control and I want to be here to watch my kids grow up. I was a really small guy up through high school and graduated at about 145-150 but that was do to being a swimmer and I ran track. I went from these two extremely cardio workouts to doing nothing for the past 10 years. I got back to 165 for my wedding in 2005 but then went back to ignoring the diet that I had done (weight watchers). I am now at about 215 which is the heaviest I have ever been, and I am the most out of shape I have ever been since I stopped playing softball in the summer. I would love to get down to about 170-175. My plan is to be to eat healthier by eating more fruits/ vegetables and less processed food and to begin running again, I also do some bike riding but I haven't done enough recently to keep weight off. I also like the idea of Brads 100 pushup challenge. I use to be in to push-ups a lot when I was on drum line in marching band and it was nothing for me to do 300 push-ups each practice for fun.

25 minutes on the tread mill. Hadn't been on in awhile, so didn't want to push first day back. Gotta start somewhere.

Last night I had about 222 calories left over for junk food, and I decided to have some peanut butter swirl ice cream.

You know how much peanut butter swirl ice cream you get for 222 calories?

Not much :(

Did Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred with the wife last night. Wore me out. Food tracking is going well.

Started tracking what I ate yesterday. It is going very well. I am just trying to be more cautious with my choices and I have stopped drinking soft drink.

Thinking about getting a Wii Fit for the wife and I. (We don't have a Wii, we would be buying the console, and the Wii Fit board)

Anyone got any input?

I'm always working on myself, living with moderation and cutting down my sugar and fat intake. I was 312 around 2008 and was showing high signs of diabetes, so i dieted and exercised and got down to 260, where I currently am. I need to do more work, but regimented eating times, portion control and reduced fast food intake has helped immensely.

Now if I can just shake my Coke Zero habit. And the cocaine...

Man, I'm a mess...
