The first books I read as a teen were Punisher books and that kind of changed my life so of course I still read Punisher books! As the days go by, my reading habits change and I read comics much differently than I did when I start and I'm happy with that! I missed lots of good thing in the 90s and early 00s that I've discovered in the last 5 years. So titles come and go but the Punisher books will always be at the top of the stack.

Spider-Man has been my favorite character since before I could read. I hope to be able to start buying Amazing Spider-man again soon.

When I started collecting, it was all the Spider-Man books, all the Superman books, all the Batman books, and all other books that were tie-ins to any of the stories in those main three "worlds". Later on, I started collecting Peter David's Hulk and Mark Waid's Flash, Daredevil, Simonson's X-Factor, big "event" stories from both of the big two, Dark Horse's Star Wars and Aliens comics, and, I'm sure, many, many others that escape me at the moment.

In the last several years, it's been Spider-Man, Flash, Daredevil, Hulk, Avengers (New, Mighty, Dark), Green Lantern, Moon Knight, Punisher (616 and Max), Ghost Rider by Ennis, Way, and Aaron, Star Wars, Aliens, Predator, Iron Man, Captain America, and, of course, many others that I'll think of as soon as I publish this post.

My favorite as a kid was Spider-Man, but I also liked Batman a lot, followed closely by the X-Men that were on the cartoon, especially Wolverine and Gambit, but not Cyclops, who I've always hated.

Now it's either Spider-Man or Batman, depending on which book I just read, followed closely by Daredevil and Punisher (MAX).

My first comic that I "seriously" collected was The Toxic Avenger. But I would say that my favorite character when I started out in 1992 was Nightcrawler. Hence, I collected Excalibur.

Now my favorite characters are Iron Man, Hawkman, and Flash. I got into Iron Man because of the cartoon series believe it or not, and have been a huge fan ever since, to the point that I am within spitting distance of having the full run. I kinda fell into being a Hawkman fan a few years ago, to the point that I run a Hawkman blog. And Flash I always dug from when I was a kid with my Super Powers toys, but I got into him in high school and have been following ever since.

When I began reading comics in the early 70s it was Thor. Now my favorite hero is Thor (always will be) but my favorite comic character is Lobo.

Back as a kid- Any team book, but especially the Defenders, the XMen, the JLA, the Legion, and the Avengers. I was only allowed one comic per trip to the grocery store so i always bought team books to get my moneys worth.

As a teen- Daredevil, the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans, Claremony/Byrne XMen, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, Miracleman and Watchmen, Nexus, Badger, Jon Sable:Freelance and Grim Jack.

Now- It more depends on the creators than the characters itself for me now, Gaiman's Morpheus, Elijah Snow from Planetary, Jesse Custer, Daredevil (still!), Asterios Polyp, and Peter Quill, Star-Lord
