Yeah, any Beast is better then the cat Beast look. I could see that theory playing out like that though and it could be interesting.

I think I'm the only X-Men fan who doesn't care whether Beast is cat-like or ape-like. So many different artists work on these books anyway; Beast already has dozens of different looks. The difference between cat and ape is really nothing I notice anymore than an artist change.

It doesn't really matter to me what beast looks like only because he's not a favorite character of mine. But seeing him looking the way he did before he turned grey/blue would still be cool.

The way cat beast is drawn is usually hit or miss. I do prefer the older beast though.

I haven't read ##9 yet but heres my question about Beast. Didn't he leave the Avengers too earlier in this event? If so why is he seen fighting along side them with no explanation?

I still hope it works out for them though, and that this just a speed bump in their relationship. Surely there is something Storm can do to get back into Wakanda's good graces. If Scarlet Witch can do it, so can Storm.

Ya know I actually enjoyed this one. Leave it to Spidey to get the best story thus far.

I think I did get a little confused along the way however, cause I thought it was the other guy (Lei Kung) not Iron Fist who was going to be important to the over all story.

I just picked up AVX 8 & 9 along with VS 4 and Legacy 270. Havn't made it to the comic shop in a while. I really enjoyed the AVX issues, they are definitely starting to build some suspense and anticipation. 3 Phoenixs down, and looks like Emma is going bad...she spilled blood....a turning point for the character in the universe to go bad again???? I really want to know more about what Charlie is gonna do to Scott---this reminded me of Fatal Attractions....mind wipe? And then maybe instead of Onslaught, we'll have some crazy Cyclops / Professor X Super Villian....hehe, that would be awesome! Legacy was alright---looks like Rogue is SOL and out of the story now. VS 4 was OK....pretty much par for the course at this point with the series---although it was pretty sweet seeing Emma shattered, and then raining down on Thor like meteors....psylocke / daredevil fight was dumb...yup.
So my thought is that with the old team coming back from the past, perhaps cyclops becomes a martyr out of this....sacrifices himself to save everyone, just like his old wife had to....and maybe the fact that they are kinda "star-crossed" lovers has something to do with it.....and then they live happily ever after in the white hot room.....just some thoughts.....as this would make room for the couple from the past to start over.....

Overall, I'm still enjoying this series.

The scene where Emma asked for Scott's help but he and his humongous ego were gone felt genuine,finally a true sense of humanity displayed here by one of the Phoenix 5.Immedialtey to be followed by Emma killing a human,stupid Scott.
