Ran today. Decided to have myself timed today. It was almost exactly one month from the last time I had myself timed. Last time I ran a mile in 10 minutes and 26 seconds. So I gave myself the same goal this time as I did last time of 9 minutes and 40 seconds. The goal was to reach that, and if I did, then I didn't have to run the 2nd mile today. So I went out there and pushed myself and when I finished my time was....
9 minutes and 20 seconds!!!
I beat my last time by 46 seconds in just one month.
Then I went for a walk with my wife and dog for a mile. Then did a 30 minute workout focused on biceps, triceps, and thighs.
