It was cool to hear that Eric was an inspiration to start Star Joes.

I didnt start listening to DC Noise until a little before Darrell joined but I went back and listened to a bunch of early episodes before realizing that Eric was no longer on the show because he passed away and I was shocked. Very nice that you guys keep him memory alive in a way i imagine he would appreciate. DC Noise and Star Joes have definitely created a cool community I'm glad to have become a part of.

In Chris' portion of the show, you all talked about other toys you had as kids.

The one line that I had up to Star Wars and then Joe was Fisher Price Adventure People. I've still got the majority of them. Great toys that you could beat the hell out of as they were for the pre school to early school age group. The stopped making them in the mid 80s. My kids got them out a few years ago and had fun with them, too.



My favorite is still the Indy style race car, but all of the sets were cool.

My little brother was into those more than GI Joe, Transformers, MotU, more than anything I can think of except for maybe MASK. He always gravitated to toys that had a rescue crew or outdoors adventure type stuff. He's all grown up to be an EMT, firefighter and does reserve work with the DNR and some of the smaller local police departments.

I definitely had some of those. I definitely remember having the pathfinder jeep with the blue tent. I also had the white helicopter and the yellow raft. Very fun memories, and I think I used those all the way into my Joe playing.

Its amazing how I won't have thought about something in ages, and then a post like jt3fan's brings it all flooding back again.

I had this shark hunter boat, which became a fine addition to my G.I. Joe forces.

And then I had this space shuttle, which was an epic toy. I would love to find this thing at a garage sale or convention some time. Loved these toys.

Oh man. I definitely had that shark boat and shark. That shark was solid rubber and could take a serious beating. So many memories.
