Just read 10.....Emma versus Scott? seemed like he "needed" her power at the end.... will she go bad? she did kill a guy.....

chaos fist was pretty dumb....looks like we practically know how this is ending now yeah?....if they can hurt the phoenix why wouldn't they just take that route....plus with wandas hex probability crap....looks that way.....still waiting for (present) jean's return!....

The Phoenix-Five is like the Highlander scenario: "There can be only one!" And Emma has pretty much embraced being bad. The murder of that dude, plus being the thought police to make sure all the students worship and adore her. It's like all of her already present negative personality traits have been multiplied.

Regarding Hope & the dragon: Hope's power is to copy the powers of any mutant she's near, right? So I guess the dragon is a mutant? Hell, maybe it'll become the newest member of the X-Men.

Haha! Mutant Dragon. The writers were like we need to make Hope relevant again(you know Hope, that girl that was the point of this fight that we forgot about) so lets have her take the powers from a mystical dragon that can fight the Phoenix Force in Cyclops. Forget that it has nothing to do how her powers work, we just need the story to roll along.

Hope was pretty cool in issue 10, I felt sorry for the dragon though. I'm hoping tha Emma defeats cyke for shits and giggles.

Also a month for the next issue, that's enought time to forget the whole things. If its out of respect for the Kuberts, I'll be more understanding.

It's probably so that 2 issues come out in September, leaving only a week or 2 between the end of AvX and the launch of whatever Marvel Now! turns out to be.

Or Emma. Prediction: in AvX 11, she beats the snot out of Cyclops, gets the last bit of Phoenix Juice, and goes full Dark Phoenix. Much like Wolverine had to with Jean (at least in the movie, don't remember if it happened in the comics), Cyclops has to kill Emma to save the world. Or something like that.

Wolverine only killed Jean in the movie. In the comics she vaporizes herself in front of Scott.
