Just a heads up to Scott, Shawn and Dave; I put together a contact list for my folks to allay their apprehensions which I'll be giving to them wednesday which includes your cell #'s and the convention and hotel info. Knowing my mother(who I love dearly, but she is who she is), she may call you to see that this whole thing is on the level. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. That being said, I'm super psyched and barring anything unfortunate over the next 2 days, I'll see you all there.

That is completely all right. Actually it's kind of touching that you have parents who still want to look out for you, even though it may seem a bit embarrassing to you.

This is now a common refrain, but y'all have a blast! Early in the year I had slim hopes of going but went on a five-year anniversary trip with my wife and to the beach for a week with my family. I'll make that choice any time

Still, seeing all y'all post makes me wish I was going too. Again, have a great time and I look forward to hearing all about it on TTF.

As far as I'm concerned, SWC began last night at 7:25. As I stepped out of my car at the Orlando Bus Station, here comes Chris out the front door. Perfect timing. Met up with Dave Atteberry, by the hearse in front of Publix (no joke), and shot the shit til the wee hours

News from Dark Horse Panel at Celebration:
- Dark Times, Darth Vader, Dawn of the Jedi and Agent of the Empire all continuing.
- Knight Errant coming to an end.
- Darth Maul and Lost Tribe of the Sith to start soon.
- More Purge comics on the way.
- Apparently the new Star Wars ongoing from Brian Wood will NOT be a reboot or ignore continuity (although how it will work in such an already crowded era is a mystery to me).
- Perhaps most importantly to this board: TWO omnibi of European and rare Star Wars comics will be printed in 2013. I have not bought a single omnibus yet (I don't care for the smaller format) but I may have to for this set.

Having the absolute time of my life.

Spent a few hours at the con yesterday, saw tons of amazing shit (pics on Facebook). Went back to Dave's, played Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, laughed so hard I almost threw up (think we recorded it all).

Again, THANK YOU to each and every one of you. Your generosity, goodwill, and devotion to the show has made this possible. And we appreciate it.

It was good to finally meet some of you guys in person. My son and I had a blast walking the con floor with all of you. Thank you again to Scott for the assistance with arranging a room for my family. The wife and daughters had fun away from home as well. Dave thank you for offering up your space for the guys when they were there. Scott, Chris H, Chris T and Shawn it was a pleasure to meet you and hangout on Saturday night. My pics from the con are up and oh by the way Chris and Chris pay close attention to the picture of my son with Obi-wan and Darth Vader, if you look over their shoulders you will see the Mando that was playing around with Pisspot and was later revealed to be "Blaster" from "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome". I almost fell out of my chair when I saw him back there.
