WELCOME TO A SPECIAL EPISODE OF TALES OF THE JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA! It's a special episode because, unfortunately, one of the hosts is taking a bit of a hiatus. As Mike and Scott explain in the episode Scott has to take a little time off for personal reasons, so the foreseeable future Mike is going to be handling the show solo. All of the details are in the episode so listen out for that towards the end of the episode.
In the meantime enjoy this AWESOME episode as Scott and Mike discuss ALL-STAR SQUADRON #9, which sees not only the conclusion of the story started in the previous episode but also the conclusion of the previously untold story of STEEL, THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN.
The story sparks some interesting conversation too as the guys talk about the Holocaust, why beating on Nazis is the best thing ever and the possible secret relationship between Baron Blitzkrieg and his dwarf assistant. They also talk about the awesome showdown between Robotman and Steel and how creepy Robotman's face is.
Plus there is a rather long digression about the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN and how shows the guys loved when they were younger hold up today. Finally there is ELSEWHERE IN THE DC MULTI-VERSE and that is pretty much that.
I am the co-host of the TWO TRUE FREAKS PODCAST . I have been alternately described as a "hellish jumble of mismanaged parts" and a "humble God".

Really good episode, guys. Again, Scott will be sorely missed, but I like the idea of Michael covering cross-over issues in the interim to keep the podcast going. I can't wait to hear the review of "Flash of Two Worlds", since it's considered one of the landmark issues marking the beginning of the "Multi-verse".

I thoroughly enjoyed the last episode of Tales before the 'Mister Miracle' period. Scott will be missed.

This issue (and the previous) are the only issues of All-Star Squadron which I own, and I own them specifically for the Steel sequence. Pretty neat books, but I don't need another title to collect!

Good show dudes! Come back soon Scott!
