Looks good to me although I'm hoping the helmet ends up looking more like the ultimate version. But this is a stunt man so I'm not too worried.

Apperently Manchester is being dressed as new york to start filming there in the next couple of days. Anyone here in the area?

I know this is the stunt double, but I still really have a hard time seeing Chris Evans as Cap. I hope I'm wrong.

With them doing a sci-fi/fantasy/Raiders-Pulpy take on Cap and the Red Skull, I can see Evans pulling that off, its not going to be Saving Pvt. Ryan with costumes.

imdb is showing Nic Cage and Bruce Willis as being in the movie. Stunt casting? Probably army officers in brief cameos.

Pic of Joe Johnston and the shield. I really like this design. It's the first time I've seen a live version that actually looks tough and sturdy. Some purists might not like the chrome replacing the white, but it fits for me.

Joe Johnston was my idol for a long time. He was a master at ILM especially in the early days. He hasn't exactly lit the world on fire as a director. He had two hits out of the gate, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and The Rocketeer. Both very effects laden and light on real story. The audience for comic book movies has gotten more sophisticated, so I hope he can up his game.

I remain hopeful.
