It is based off a story and produced by Robert Rodriguez but he has some guy name Nimrod directing it. That said it looks amazing!

Turns out the director Nimrod Anatol was shopping at Austin Books and Comics right across the street from where I work and shop during lunch sometimes. I'm sure he was low key but that would have been cool to say hi. Turns out most of Predators was filmed in Austin.

When Rodriguez filmed Planet Terror, parts were shot in Luling. Since I volunteer for the fire department there, we got hired to be standby for the pyro scenes. They had a sweet catering setup. I got to show Rose McGowan where the female port-o-potties were. And yes she was wearing the super short mini skirt and green cast on her leg.

Mixed reviews now coming out of a screening. I've heard awesome. I've heard no better than P2. I've heard a mess.

I'll take as good as P2...

I liked it alot. It felt like a Predator movie much more than the AvP movies. It's not perfect, but there's way more good than bad. I smiled a bunch of times and left happy.
