Not yet. And unfortunately, I deleted three episodes worth of notes.

*Facepalms*

(And beyond that, haven't listened to any other episodes)
If we're not one, but two, are we evil or good? Do we walk the fine line that we'd cross if we could?

Starting this thing up again.

All that really needs to be known about the episode notes I deleted:

The guys don't care for Age of X.

Officially back! Normally I'd wait to post multiple show notes, but that's how things got deleted last time.

Episode 105

As a child, Rob witnessed a hamster devour its newborn.

They are trying to do a shorter show, starting with this episode.

In On Shelves Now, Rob has five buys, Brian has one.

The end of Age of X is spoiled for Brian because of solicitations. As a result, he now knows exactly hat kind of alternate reality the event takes place in.

Rob is now hooked on Age of X, Brian isn't sold on it.

Rob is convinced this event is somehow Legion's fault.

They liked the Mr. Sinister and Ms. Sinister in X-23 #6.

They enjoyed X-Factor# 215-215. Rob liked finding out that J. Jonah Jameson is Mayor of New York. They both still like the Marvel Universe direction of the series.

Inside the Mansion on Fantomex. He's a real winner.

Retro Reviews of Uncanny #238-239. Brian is seeing these issues with new eyes (he tuned out of these issues when he was younger) and is enjoying them.

Brian thinks Wolverine is awesome since he's vulnerable.

Sinister is great, but his motivation is the same as Magneto and Apocalypse.
If we're not one, but two, are we evil or good? Do we walk the fine line that we'd cross if we could?

Looking back, Age of X gave us nothing long term. Maybe in Legacy some parts will be brought up again with Legion at the center.

My awake-mare came when they said shorter shows. :)

Episode 106

They are determined to "take the forum back."

They still dislike Generation Hope. Hope is acting too much like Pixie, and has lost her military edge.

They are enjoying the Gischler writing and Bachalo art on X-Men #9. Rob is excited to see Dark Beast.

In the Retros, Inferno is upon us! Unsurprisingly, X-Terminators #1 is bad.

Episode 107

Rob survived a tornado.

Uncanny #534
was good. They liked the Magneto stuff. ROb likes that the book has a new core X-Men team.

Uncanny X-Force #6
was a borrow for both. For Rob, Deathlok stuff was a bit confusing and derailing. Brian thought it was interesting. Rob felt t was all a little "nineties".

Both liked Age of X chapter 7. They feel like it's going somewhere.

Top Five
crushes growing up.

Episode 108

Generation Hope
is bad. Hope is interesting by herself. Her teammates are not.

Brian liked Uncanny #535. Rob checked out, since it has to do with Breakworld.

Rob: "Here's what's going to happen the rest of the time: They're gonna make things peaceful up there, take out that one bad dude, and Kitty's not gonna have to wear that fucking fishbowl anymore. Done."

In the Retros, Rob thinks Inferno is weird thus far, with really good parts and really bad ones. Brian likes this style of crossover, with the teams dealing with events on their own.

So far, Rob hasn't seen anything he doesn't like, as far as Maddie Pryor being a clone of Jean Grey.

It's my birthday, so I'll give you guys a "present": notes for another episode!

Image

Episode 109

They recount FCBD. Manga Girl is no longer at Rob's store. I used to have the link to her webcomic, but I've long since forgotten it.

With Uncanny X-Force #7, Rob is still not digging the storyline. Brian feels this is clearly a buy even though it deals with "the World" and Morrison stuff.

Rob loved X-Men #10. Brian still didn't really care for the Lizard stuff. They would like to see other superheroes guest star, and not just the A-listers.

Rob thinks next time we see Dark Beast, he'll be free, with no mention of his capture at the end of this issue.

Rob dislikes the end of Age of X, while Brian finds it "satisfying".

They liked Daken #8. They find Daken to be interesting when written well.

There's an Ask the X-Men segment with Strong Guy.

If anyone here watches the guilty pleasure that is Big Brother, I just have to say: Go Dan.

He's almost single-handedly made this season amazing, with some support from Ian.

"The god of Death is back from Hell!" - Duo Maxwell.

Episode 110

There's a Top 5 mutants they would not want as roommates.

Rob: I stopped reading comics for 20 years and somehow I'm back to this."

Rob dislikes Hellion's new hands. And he likens the Gambit/Rogue thing to Ross and Rachel from Friends.

In Legacy #248, they like that there's ramifications from Age of X.

Generation Hope #6 still sucks. Rob wonders if he can compare it to Generation X, back when it first started.

Astonishing X-Men #37
- Rob tries his best to get out of this, but Brian feels like this is half the fun.

After two positive reviews in in the voicemail section, both hosts are looking forward to X-Men: First Class.

They talk about the future of Digital Comics. Brian would be shocked if comics were not $2.99.

Rob: Any moron that's gonna spend $3 on a digital copy of a comic really deserves a bat to the head. I mean that's just fucking stupid."

Overall, Rob is excited for digital stuff. He just hopes that they don't screw it up with the pricing.

Episode 111

They discuss news of DC's new 52. Rob thinks it's going to be a great jumping-on point. Brian's not so sure. He's reminded of Age of Apocalypse and Heroes Reborn.

In the Retros, Brian admits Inferno isn't doing much for him.

Rob feels X-terminators #4 would have been better if Wizkid died at the end.

X-Factor #218
- Brian think it's a complete train-wreck. until the last panel, with Guido's death. He did not see that coming. Both agree it's a good cliffhanger, and that a resurrected Guido could be interesting.

Uncanny #536 - Both don't care about the Breakworld arc, and are ready to be done with Utopia.

Ah, I remember the days when the Uncanny X-Cast came out weekly and Mr. Sinister's recaps came out every other day. I do appreciate Brian and Rob keeping all past episodes available though. Brian's amazing appearance on the Bat-Radia may be lost in time, like tears in the rain.

Mr. Sinister, any chance you could run through the episodes again and count the number of times Brian does his "really" voice for each episode? Mistress Lebeau, on a DAMPcast episode, brought up the funny way Brian says it.
