Does anyone know if they've done a version of the G1 Iron hide that looks like the cartoon version in Robot mode? Just curious because he's always been one of my favorite characters (even kinda like the Bayformer version, but not nearly as much). The G1 version in toy form isn't what I'm looking for at all. I'd also settle for an affordable non-transformable robot mode one if there is one out there.

From what I heard from Craig from Fwooshcast it's still not a good toy, but at least the robot version looks a lot more like the cartoon character. I would like to get it to have the robot version on the shelf. He's probably my 3rd or 4th favorite autobot. Probably 3rd behind Optimus and Jazz. I would love it if they did a masterpiece edition of Ironhide.

I get it, Soundblaster is the black toy, but he looks like and is Soundwave. So to please all the fanboys they made him blue. Got it.

I always thought they should do a new Soundwave as a triple-changer, like he was in War for Cybertron. He can be a robot, a tapedeck/boombox, and a vehicle of some kind. It would make him a more efficient member of the team. The same could be said for Megatron and Shockwave from G-1. Guns are awsome but being able to move about the battlefield on your own in your alt mode helps to. (yes I know in the comics Shockwave could fly in gun mode.)

I've seen some concept art and images for the NewTransformers Prime Ironhide that is either just out, or coming out really soon. I think I'm going to look for him since he's what I was thinking of drawing myself. A sort of combination of his G-1 and Bayformer versions. I think he looks pretty cool.

Wow. He looks awesome. If he looks like that, then I'll be picking him up. I need a good Ironhide for my collection.

It looks cool and all but I seem to have a problem where it a transformers design deviates to much from g1 it makes me loose interest :(
