As I recall, Mr Hollands Opus was a bit melodramatic, but I found the theme of an older creative person getting the chance to realize an artistic dream hard to resist emotionally.

Episode 32

- Received complaints that there was no Count Nefaria in the the clip show.
- Rob accuses Brian of eating 37 chicken nuggets while watching college basketball.
- Brian's wife told him he shouldn't be watching the new Degrassi show.
- More Gossip Girl talk... (Rob is tempted to buy the books...)
- Brian wants to cancel the podcast before his kids are old enough to realize he does a comic book podcast.
- Rob still hasn't finished the Mammomax sketch. He promises to finish before the next episode of he will read and review the rest of X-Men: Die By the Sword.
- Speaking of... X-Men: Die By the Sword #1... Rob says Claremont must be having another stroke and Brian asks him to stop bashing the guy so they can have him on the show.
- Top 5 is X-Men Crossovers.

Episode 33

- Rob is tired after getting drunk at X-Mas party.
- Brian is tired because his son woke up afraid of the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph.
- Rob finally finished the Mammomax sketch with no. 2 pencil on printer paper and Brian never opened the e-mail with the scan of it.
- The Uncanny X-Cast logo comes up when you Google "Mammomax."
- Reaction to the ASM One More Day story.
- Brian didn't realize his Facebook profile could be private.
- Rob promised "Tony Mobile Home" that he would review every X-Men First Class issue.
- Rob predicts a digital "add-on code" again; also .99 cent digital comics.
- Rob predicts the iPad, or rather, something "thin as a clipboard that is just a screen that your comic plays on."
- Brian says, "You'd never be able to read comics on something like that," and "I don't buy that there'd ever be some kind of online player to read comics," and "I don't think people would want to lug those around." ;)

- Neither hosts are much impressed with the post-Messiah Complex status quo changes.
- Solicitations for April 2008... which are underwhelming.
- Hosts are shocked that they are excited about a book about Bishop and Cable (Cable)

- The nature of the Uncanny X-Net ban is explained due to listener request.
- If they had to choose a male X-Man to sleep with Rob would sleep with Colossus because he'd "tear it up" and Brian would choose Gambit because he has "long hair."
- They are ready for Whedon's run on Astonishing to come to an end. In more interesting news, Brian's son calls Colossus Bogossus.
