Captain America 602 (Spoilers) No Escape - Part 2

Synopsis:

Falcon is rushed in with medical attention after the explosion last issue. Cap is in the hospital losing his temper with regret over what happened to Sam and the "mickey" get received is messing with his head. Outside the hospital, Zemo sends Iron Hand Hauptmann in to cause a distraction. Zemo then calls 911 to report a disturbance.

Hautpmann and Cap fight - eventually they end up outside and Nazis show up with guns. Cap goes after them and Hauptmann escapes in the confusion. Steve Rogers shows up in a cool flying SHIELD convertible and stops Cap. Cap realizes he has been hallucinating and he has taken out members of the NYPD.

At Avengers Tower, Dr Jane Foster discovers nanobots releasing controlled amounts of hallucinogen and muscle relaxant. She takes out the 'bots with an EMP and sends the results to Mr Stark to see if they can identify who is behind it.

Rogers, Cap and the Black Widow realizes someone knows Cap's identity. The troubles escalate even more when a newscast shows Cap beating up the cops and "has left New York and America looking for answers from this masked man."

Rogers reports Sam is okay and we be back in action shortly. The explosion was meant as a distraction and not to kill anyone. Black Widow and Cap (in plain clothes) track down the place where the person who drugged him lives. As they walk up to the door, there is an explosion. Cap and Black Widow are knocked down and the Beetle (a female version) walks out of the door.

Meanwhile, Zemo is at a mansion in upstate NY where he is meeting with Igon. (Not sure who Igon is). Igon gives Zemo a KGB film reel labeled: "Project: Winter Soldier"


Rating:

Another solid issue - Breitweiser did the pencils and the inks were done by Guice and Breitweiser - art reminded my of John Buscema for some reason.

Like how Zemo is building up to be a legitimate threat.
