It's been awhile since I read this event so this episode made for a nice refresher. Now I remember fully why I was really disappointed by this event. FIVE...FIVE!!! issues of nothing but fighting in the Savage Land and almost all of the long dead heroes end up being Skrulls. That ship full of heroes has to be one of the biggest cock teases in all of comic events.

Corrections/add-ons:
I think that ship full of heroes in space Ryan is trying to remember is from Giant Sized Astonishing X-men #1.

I can't remember anyplace on Earth in the main Marvel universe where mutants lose there powers including the Savage Land. I think Ryan is thinking about the X-men animated series where Mr. Sinister uses some machine to cause mutants to lose there powers once inside of the Savage Land. It's when Professor X and Magneto meet there and find out there powers are gone and then get chased by a Dinosaur.

Yeah, it probably is the animated series I am thinking of. I am probably inserting that into my brain as cannon because I loved that series.
