Been dabbling in customizing for over 2 years, probably close to 3, at this point. It's mostly simple repaint and parts swaps, but I've started to do a little sculpting. Here's some of the more recent projects:
Modern Luke Cage. Started as a WWE Elite R-Truth figure from Mattel, using a Brother Devon figure from Marvel Toys TNA line.

Some Lantern customs - This guy is unnamed, but he uses the DCUC John Stewart body, Hal Jordan forearms and fists, and a DCD Warlord head:
http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq25 ... oms006.jpgHere's one with the variant AOA Weapon X head. It's on a wrong-torso GL body from the Abin Sur/Hal Jordan 2-pk.

And this gal uses an ML Sue Storm head. From one of the boxed sets, IIRC. Figured her large eyes (compared to DCUC figures) and strange hair gave an alien-enough appearance.

A Sinestro Corps member using the movie Colossus head and some silver paint on his hands and neck:

And this guy, who I think I'll call Na'gol (
real creative, I know), makes use of the AOA Weapon X figure. Did a little fur sculpting on the backs of his hands to help out the overall look:

The DCUC Wave 9 "blue" Wildcat was clearly purple, so I decided to blue him up. First, I mixed up a little of Testor's Model Masters Dark Blue with Tamiya's Flat Blue and did a heavy drybrush all over.

Then, I mixed some of the Testor's Dark Blue with some Testor's Flat White, and did a lighter drybrushing over the darker blue. Got a little sloppy in a couple of areas, but I've seen worse from toy companies. I'm happy with him.

This guy's almost a year old. I traded for a DCD Tomar Re to put his head on a DCUC GL body, but needed to do some serious work before it would look decent:

Had to dremel quite a bit of the neck and then add green stuff to hold onto the neck peg.
