Game of Thrones

Postby Manic Messiah » Sat Mar 31, 2012 8:12 pm

Season 2 starts tomorrow!!!

Are people excited? I read all the books after the first season ended, so it's going to be a whole different experience for me watching it this year. Though to be honest they all kind of run together, so its hard for me to say what will actually be happening season to season, much less episode to episode.

To be honest, the premier date kind of snuck up on me. I only realized last week how close it was to premiering. That, and I've only seen one trailer for it, which got me super hyped up to watch it. Loved who they cast for Stannis, can't wait to see who they cast for some other characters.

(I literally spent about three minutes trying to figure out how I should punctuate the first sentence).

Looking forward to it too. I was ready to drop the show after the first few episodes but I became a big fan once it overcame it's slow start.

There is definitely a whole left behind by Walking Dead, that only Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad could temporarily fill.

Yes, very excited. They've done such a great job moving these novels to the screen, I SO hope they get to do Storm of Swords. That will really get people talking.

Looking forward to it, though we have to wait until Monday (UK). That's not bad though in the past it could take months, if ever, for American shows to air over here.

I rewatched it in March, and enjoyed it a whole lot more the 2nd time. The 1st time I almost dropped it after 2 or 3 eps, because it just felt so...slow. I'm looking forward to season 2, but only for more naked chick with dragons. And hoping that the little blonde bastard king gets got.

I refuse to read the books. They're too big, and I don't have the energy for that anymore. Also, they're turning them into a TV show so I don't have to.

I have a hard enough time keeping track of who's who when I can actually look at them. Even the show doesn't do you any favors. Is that the old beardy white guy at the wall, or the old beardy white guy tooling around with Sean Bean's kid? Is that the manly knight guy protecting the dragon girl or the manly knight guy protecting the midget? Is there anything they could possibly do to make Sean Bean's 3 main character grown-up sons more similar (probably not)? I can't imagine doing it with the books.

Love those dire wolves. Hate that inbred Joffrey kid. In fact I hate all Lannisters... Except Tyrion... But this is nothing new, I guess. All those feelings are just sort of reinforced now. All I can say is...

I don't think the intersection of FUXors who watch/read game of thrones and watch english soccer is that big, but for the couple or so who likes both, this is absolutely hilarious.

Gotta say, the sailor prince dude was nowhere near as weirded out by the revelation that he'd finger-banged his sister as he should've been. What's G.M.'s deal with incest?
