100 Pushups Challenge!!!

I started tonight. I had just happened just done some push-ups the other night so I felt comfortable starting on the second level. I completed the first four sets then for the 5th set a minimum of 5 I completed 10. I was pretty happy with how I did for the first night. I am going to do a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Rotation. Considering doing the 200 Sit-up Challenge on the odd days and taking Sundays off.

How many sets does it have you do each day? I'm interested to hear. I've been doing push ups regularly for years and I'd like to compare notes.

I'm willing to try the sit up thing.

For the majority of the 6 weeks you do 5 sets with the number of reps increasing. During the last two weeks the number of sets increases to 8 and then 9.

Yea I have been doing the sit-ups on my off days for push-ups. The first 4 sets haven't been bad yet but I have been trying to do more than the minimum for the final set. I did 25 the first day and 30 the second day. My stomach is where I need to lose the most weight so these are great for trying to tighten that area up. I am not sure what you are doing but I am only doing crunches really which is what the website recommends.

I've been doing the "training for warriors" push up challenge before I start my students on it. it's pretty good basically the idea is to do ten reps of ten different types of push up in under four minutes. Finnishing with the Rocky Balboa one arm push-ups is the killer
